Case # GKMJ3131
Police were dispatched during a wake. The deceased in question was Rodolfo Gomez, a former congressman.
It was a strange sight. In place of the deceased’s body a banana stalk was set inside the coffin. The mourners were inconsolable.
From their testimonials, the witnesses said that there was a period of time where they were not able to watch the body. It was at this time they said that the exchange happened.
Others in the vicinity say that this was some sort of sick prank. They blame the local teenagers and their new-fangled music.
Some of the older members of society said this was not the first time something like this had happened. The bodies were never found.
The mourners would not continue the wake. With no other recourse, they buried the banana stalk in the coffin.
There was one specific person that all the congregation said could have done this.
An infamous delinquent, Rosard Belingo.
They said he was yawning whenever he got close to the corpse, a clear sign of his guilt. The elders said that that act was only done by one planning to take the body.
The suspect was unable to be located. A manhunt was called but after one week he was still at large.
The case remains open.
