Case #JKM1003

Aisha Usman was taking a swim by Tanduh beach when she suddenly disappeared from the sight of her friends.

She was found at 1530 that day, August 12, 2024, drowned.

No foul play as suspected and it seemed like an open and shut case.

That was before Shiah Omar was also found drowned in the same area.

Abdul Mohammed was found a week after that. Before Abdul it was attributed to coincidence. The sea was mostly calm and there were no storms. The current was also not strong in that vicinity.

As of the time of writing, January 2, 2025, there were two more victims.

There were no similarities in victimology. Their age ranged from 20-60 and they were socio-economically different as well. 3 were female and 2 were male.

Witnesses say there was nothing out of the ordinary, but in Shiah Omar’s case the victim mentioned that she saw something strange floating in the water.

More interviews were conducted and the sister of Aisah said that there was a dead cow in the middle of the water.

Further investigation found that witnesses from 2 other incidents also said that there was something in the water, but they were not sure what it was.

It was also noted that the sister of Aisah almost drowned herself, she said she was being pulled by something in the direction of the dead cow, but she managed to swim back to the beach.

The case is still ongoing and that part of the beach was closed to swimmers.
