Did you know that wild hogs may weigh up to 300 pounds or more?
Did you know that boars can have four extremely sharp tusks up to five inches long that can severely injure or kill?
Did you know that feral pigs can exhibit aggressive and territorial behaviors?
Did you know that wild boars are carriers of diseases that can be passed on to humans?
Did you know that, given the chance, pigs would eat humans?
If you knew the answers to these questions then maybe next time you wouldn’t make fun of the old woman with the pigs.
Maybe you would have just left her alone instead of making fun of them.
Maybe you would have paid more attention when it felt like something was following you.
Maybe you would have ran faster.
Maybe you would have survived.
But that’s all in the past, I suppose.
It’s late now and dinner was surprisingly fast.
Now it’s time to go back to mother and the rest of the family.
Who knows who we’ll meet tomorrow.
